The Memphis area was a hotbed for Wrestling for over 30 years. Many wrestling writers consider 1980-82 to be the peak of excitement for the Memphis area. Included with Memphis/Mid South are stars of Angelo Poffo’s ICW Federation based in Paducah, KY and Bruiser’s WWA (World Wrestling Association) based in Indianapolis, IN. Jerry Jarrett who ran Memphis did some crossing over not only to help those Federations but to introduce new talent for his area. The fans in Memphis & Nashville, TN, Tupelo, MS, Wardell, MO, Forest City, AR, Evansville, IN, Louisville and Lexington, KY and surrounding towns were treated to some of the very best wrestling ever presented in any Federation.
All told, there are 140+ wrestlers (male and female), and 8 managers, and two all-new interview cards to add even more excitement to your Pro Wrestling World. Frank has left no stone unturned in his research, bringing an entirely accurate snapshot of the time period.
The ratings are "normalized", so you can mix and match wrestlers from different promotions, and still have an "accurate" universe.
