This set includes the 2019 US Champions Tour. With the 2019 set, we have rated the top 200 golfers on the money list.  This should allow you, as the gamer, to truly hold “as-played” tournaments. Doing this also allows you to conduct the Major Tournaments with the part-time tour players that often fill these events.

We have also included the Optional Big Day/Bad Day system that was employed in the All-Time Great Set.

This game was created several years ago to fill a personal need for a quick playing golf game that also involved a golfer’s skills, ability and personality. There are many fantastic golf games on the market. However, the stroke-by-stroke games have a playing time that isn’t conducive for a full tournament, let alone an entire season. And the quicker playing games, including a couple that I was involved with during the design, brought game play times down, but still didn't “tell the story” of the round, nor did the golfers “feel different from one another”. The quest for both elements during game play resulted in the birth of Player of the Game Golf.

Over the years, the game has been tweaked and modified to cover all aspects of a golf tournament and season. We have literally played thousands of rounds of golf with the game and have used a computer model to play millions of rounds (no, that’s not an exaggeration) to ensure the game’s accuracy and playability.

Golfers are rated for their scoring ability on Par 3, Par 4 and Par 5 holes. They are also rated for their skill in putting, driving, scrambling, and fairway play. They are also rated for their overall play in early rounds as well as in pressure situations when the tournament is on the line.

Each course is individually rated for difficulty during each round of play as well as scoring during each round.

And if that's not enough, we provide you with the tools to play as yourself or on your local course!

With Player of the Game Golf, you’ll see why a player struggled or had a great day on the links. You’ll visually be able to see the differences in the courses on the tour, and most importantly, be able to see why a player succeeds on certain course types, and struggles on others. Player of the Game Golf also accurately depicts how each and every golfer performs during early rounds and when facing extreme pressure during the final round. We really feel that Player of the Game golf covers all of the bases, offering accuracy, individuality, and most importantly speed of play.
